Library

There are 144 libraries in the region, of which 105 are in rural areas. The total book fund is 2,468,264 units, of which 23,067 units have been transferred to digital format. For the reporting period of 9 months of 2020, 97,291 readers were registered in libraries.

In 2020, the construction was completed and the new building of the district library of the city of Kulsary was put into operation.

Since the beginning of the year, the regional libraries have held 5775 events, including 2880 book exhibitions, both offline and online, designed and promoted.
