In the region 16 museums (1 of the republican significance) provide services to the population.
According to the results of reporting for 9 months of 2020, there are 125,301 exhibits in museums. 24% of exhibits have been transferred to digital format. In 3D format - 247 items of exhibits. 737 excursions were conducted (online, offline).
The museumification of the Museum of Military Glory named after B. Nysanbayev in the Indersky District was carried out. An exposition hall "Pearl of the Great Steppe" ("Uly dala zhauһary") has been opened in the regional history and local history museum. Since the beginning of the year, 2 archaeological excavations have been carried out (the Miyaly and Kudaibergen burial mounds).
In 2020, the construction of the district museum in the city of Kulsary was completed, a new museum building was put into operation.
