Since October 26, 2016 the Agency has been a member of the Basel Consultative Group (BCG). BCG provides a forum for deepening the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s (BCBS) engagement with supervisors around the world on banking supervisory issues. It facilitates broad supervisory dialogue with non-member countries on new BCBS initiatives early in the process by gathering senior representatives from various countries, international institutions and regional groups of banking supervisors that are not members of the BCBS. The BCG holds expert meetings 3 times a year, as a rule, one of which takes place in Basel.
The Agency after being a member in the BCG, is able to participate in a wide professional dialogue, exchange of views and experience on the implementation of banking regulation and supervision policies.
The Agency is constantly working to improve the prudential regulation of banks, the banking risk management system based on the principles of the BCBS. Works on the transition of the current regulatory regime to the basic principles of Basel III on the minimum capital requirements is in progress.
On November 27, 2018 the Agency signed the Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Consultation and Cooperation and the Exchange of Information (IOSCO).
IOSCO is the international body that brings together the world's securities regulators. The Agency has been a member of IOSCO since 1997.
