The Akmola Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on an ongoing basis carries out systematic work to form and improve the institution of public mediators. Also, much attention is paid to the development of professional mediation in the preventive settlement of social conflicts.
There are 116 mediation offices in the region. There are 12 professional and 75 non-professional mediators working with the AANC.
Since the beginning of 2019, professional and non-professional mediators have provided citizens with about 1200 consultations on resolving family, household, property and labor issues.
The main questions of the citizens who applied were: property disputes, family and household disputes, labor disputes.
The contingent of applicants: blue-collar workers, office workers, pensioners, entrepreneurs aged 29 to 60, which indicates an interest in the institution of mediation as an alternative way to resolve conflicts of all strata and age groups of society.
In the public reception room of the mediation office of KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" under the Akmola oblast akim's office in Kokshetau, 2 professional mediators work: Dikovenko Dmitry Nikolaevich, Oynarova Gulmira Umytbekovna and 1 non-professional (people's) mediator, chairman of the Council of Mothers at AANK Kiikova. According to the visit schedule, legal and psychological consultations are provided free of charge. There is a helpline (87162) 72-31-71.
It should be noted that in 2018 the Akmola region took part in the republican competitions "The Best Mediation Office" and "The Best Mediator" of the ANC, following which Syzdykova Gaysha Ibragimovna took 2nd place and was awarded a diploma by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan L.A. Prokopenko.

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan plays a huge role in strengthening the unity of the people, maintaining peace and harmony within the state. In procedural terms, mediation is already starting to work in the field of interethnic relations, represented by ethnocultural associations and structures of the ANC - Councils of Public Accord and Councils of Mothers.
In 2019, the Council of Mothers under the Akmola ANC and the Akmola Specialized Juvenile Court, within the framework of the concluded memorandum of joint activities, carried out a number of measures to develop the institution of mediation.
So, on June 15, 2019 at the regional forum of Councils of mothers "Bakhytty shagyrak - Kuatty memleket" the chairman of the specialized interdistrict juvenile court of Akmola region Zhumatova Aisulu Umirserikovna made a report on the topic "On the creation of family courts in the Republic of Kazakhstan."

August 5, 2019 Within the framework of the Single Republican Day of Mediation, an open day of mediation offices was organized on the basis of friendship centers, educational institutions, various organizations, institutions with the participation of professional and non-professional mediators. So, in the Akmola region, 57 events were held, 49 of them in mediation rooms, with the participation of 10 professional and 143 non-professional mediators. The number of citizens who applied was 171 people. Also, within the framework of the Single Republican Day of Mediation, a blitz survey (survey) was conducted, in which 298 people took part.
In 2019, there were no inter-ethnic issues in the mediation offices of the Akmola ANC, which confirms the absence of cases of violation of the rights of ethnic groups and indicates the stability of interethnic relations in the region.
