As part of the implementation of Standard Basic Direction No. 4 “Prevention and Counteraction to Corruption,” on June 17, 2025, an explanatory and educational preventive event in the form of a dialogue platform was held by the head of the district akim’s office, who also serves as the ethics commissioner, with the staff of the following government institutions:
State Institution "Department of Housing and Communal Services, Passenger Transport, Highways, and Housing Inspection of the Zhaksyn District",
State Institution "Department of Entrepreneurship and Agriculture of the Zhaksyn District",
State Institution "Department of Construction of the Zhaksyn District".
The event addressed issues of combating corruption, restrictions related to the performance of public service duties, and anti-corruption limitations, including anti-corruption restrictions on participations in gambling and/or betting in gambling establishments defined by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Gambling Business," as well as in unauthorized places.
In addition, the issue of personal responsibility of managers for corruption offenses committed by their subordinates, as well as adherence to the norms of the Code of Ethics, was discussed. Based on the results of the event, appropriate recommendations were given to public servants.
