In Akmola region there are 6 regional branches of political parties, 2 socio-political associations of the Roo "Slavic movement Lad", the ROO "Patriotic movement "Zheltoksan akikaty".

With public bodies to constructively cooperate with the regional branches of party "Nur-Otan", knpc, "AK Zhol", "Auyl". The rest - "OSDP", "Birlik" are less noticeable in the political life of the region, the connection of regional branches with the regions is weakened.

Among the oppositional public associations in the Akmola region are the Akmola regional branch of the OSDP (V. L. Smokvin), the Republican Slavic movement "Lad" (M. B. Kramarenko, P. N. Kuzmenko), the Akmola Department of Siberian Cossacks (A.V. ataman Danilyuk), the Akmola territorial branch of the Republican Union of trade unions "Commonwealth of trade Unions of Kazakhstan" Amanat "(E. V. Skobelev)

In order to localize negative processes and ensure a constructive dialogue between civil society and the government, a political discussion club "Namys"was created under the Department of internal policy. Since the beginning of this year, 3 meetings of the club were held, 8 meetings and conversations were held with the leaders of political parties and public associations.

 423 non-governmental organizations are registered in Akmola region.

For the last 4 years the positive dynamics of financing of the state social (2016 - 231,4 million Tg., 2017 - 468,5 million tenge 2018 – 567,7 million tenge 2019 – 615,7 million tenge ).

In the framework of the social contract in 2019 for the development of the NGO sector from various sources of the budget allocated 615,7 million tenge, including from Republican budget 192.6 million tenge, the regional – 121,6 million tenge, the regional and city budgets figure of $ 301.5 million tenge.
