On October 22, 2020, the chief specialist of the legal Department of the construction Department of the Akmola region, R. K. Kelisov, explained the main norms of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Оn combating corruption", as well as innovations in the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Оn public procurement" and rules among the employees of the Department.
Regular seminars among the Department's employees on the topic of legislative changes contain all the most important and up-to-date information on the coming into force and planned innovations in the field of public procurement. These measures are of a permanent nature, as the legislation in this area changes regularly and timely explanations are essential in the activities of the state body.
During the event, the reasons and conditions that contribute to the Commission of corruption offenses during the construction of facilities were announced. Measures are listed to prevent any possibility of a conflict of interest.
Suggestions were made to improve contracts by introducing appropriate conditions that reduce the risk of violations. In addition, it is worth noting that one of the most susceptible to corruption is the sphere of public procurement. Adoption of these measures reduces corruption risks in public procurement.
