Agricultural land is recognized as land provided for the needs of agriculture or intended for these purposes.
As part of agricultural land, agricultural land and land occupied by on-farm roads, communications, closed reservoirs, land reclamation network, buildings and structures necessary for the functioning of agriculture, as well as other land (solonets, sands, takyrs and other other land interspersed in the massifs of agricultural land) are allocated.
On land plots provided to individuals and legal entities for conducting agricultural production, peasant or farm farming, and field plots of personal subsidiary farming, the construction of objects not related to farming, including residential buildings (including individual ones), is not allowed. At the same time, valuable agricultural land, which includes all types of irrigated agricultural land, arable land, fallow land, and land occupied by perennial plantings, cannot be used for the construction of livestock complexes, temporary buildings, and household buildings for seasonal work and livestock breeding on agricultural land.
It is not allowed to change the purpose of agricultural land provided for the conduct of peasant or farm farming, agricultural production, for the purposes of individual housing construction and for the conduct of personal subsidiary farming, except in cases of expansion of the land of settlements in accordance with the master plans (or their replacement scheme for the development and development of settlements with a population of up to five thousand people).
Agricultural land includes: arable land, fallow land, land occupied by perennial plantations, hayfields and pastures.
Arable land is a land plot that is systematically cultivated and used for crops of agricultural crops, including crops of perennial grasses, as well as pure pairs. Arable land does not include land plots of hayfields and pastures occupied by crops of preliminary crops (for no more than three years), plowed for the purpose of radical improvement, as well as row spacing of gardens used for crops.
Fallow-a land plot that was previously part of arable land and for more than one year, starting in the fall, is not used for sowing agricultural crops and is not prepared for steam.
Perennial plantings - land plots used for artificially created woody, shrubby perennial plantings intended for harvesting fruit and berry, technical and medicinal products, as well as for decorative design of the territory.
Natural haymaking – land plots that are systematically used for haymaking.
Pastures – land plots provided and used for year-round or seasonal grazing of farm animals. When grazing farm animals on pastures, haymaking is allowed for the purpose of foraging in cases where the productivity of pastures exceeds the need for feed for grazed farm animals, while observing the maximum permissible load standards for the total area of pastures.
Hayfields of radical improvement – areas of hayfields on which a new grass stand has been created by tinning.
Indigenous improvement pastures – areas of pasture on which a new herbage has been created by sowing high-yielding varieties of perennial grasses.
Watered pastures - pastures on the territory of which there are water sources (lakes, rivers, ponds, digs, irrigation or irrigation channels, pipe or shaft wells) that can provide water of appropriate quality to the corresponding livestock.
Agricultural land can be irrigated and non-irrigated.
Irrigated agricultural land includes land suitable for agricultural use and irrigation, having a permanent or temporary irrigation network connected to an irrigation source, whose water resources provide irrigation of these lands with a flow of at least 75 percent of the availability in the optimal time according to the design or current irrigation standards with the existing efficiency of the system.
Estuary irrigation lands are areas where there are water-retaining shafts, water-regulating dams and other hydraulic structures that ensure the retention and redistribution of meltwater and spring floods on the area of these areas, as well as water supplied from irrigation or irrigation channels for soil moisture charging.
