Licensing

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permits and Notifications", a license is a first-category permit issued by a licensor to an individual or legal entity to carry out a licensed type of activity.

1. Certain types of activities or actions (operations) in the following areas are subject to licensing:

• broadcasting;
• cultures;
• education;
• architecture, urban planning and construction;
• oil and gas;
• industry;
• informatization and communication;
• trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, precursors;
• healthcare;
• use of atomic energy;
• ensuring information security;
• special technical means intended for carrying out operational search activities;
• turnover of weapons, military equipment and certain types of weapons, explosives and products with their use;
• turnover of toxic substances;
• production of state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages, production of tobacco products;
• commodity exchanges;
• export and import;
• financial sphere and activities related to the concentration of financial resources;
• use of outer space;
• gambling business;
• veterinary medicine;
• agriculture;
• transport;
• forensic expert activities, including forensic medical, forensic narcological and forensic psychiatric examinations;
• services for individuals and legal entities.
