About the religious situation in the Tselinograd district

The general state of development of the religious situation: consistently favorable.

The main trends in the development of the situation:

The well-being of the religious population in the framework of support for rural imams is stable and calm. The district analyzes and studies the activities of religious associations, conducts extensive information and explanatory work on the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism.

There are 18 places of worship in the district, including 13 mosques, 4 Orthodox churches (Akkaiyn village, Nuresil village, Rodina village, Akmol village), and one Catholic church of the "Holy Rosary" (Akmol village).

To date, according to the order of the Duma of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 13 imams, 11 naib imams, 1 azanshi, 5 mullahs work in the territory of the Tselinograd district.

The district has an information and explanatory group consisting of 16 people, its work is aimed at forming the population's basic knowledge in the field of religion, familiarizing them with the religious situation in the region, the principles of state policy in regulating issues of religious relations.

Activities of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan

According to the schedule, prayer services are held every Sunday for the parishioners. Charity events, assistance to the needy, in the form of warm clothing and food are held.

Activities of the Roman Catholic Church

On October 22, 2017, Mariusz Andrzej Stavazz was appointed rector of the Roman Catholic Parish "Queen of the Holy Rosary" in Akmola. The number of parishioners is 20 people. According to the approved schedule, Sunday and solemn sermons are held in the rural districts of Zeleny Gai, Zhanaesil and Akmol.

The state of missionary activity.

On the territory of the Tselinograd district, 5 representatives of different faiths carry out missionary activities.

Activities of spiritual (religious) educational organizations.

Since 2012, since November, a private institution has been operating in the village of Kosshy, the Republican Center "Kauam al-din al-Itkani Al-Farabi at-Turkistani" for the training of Koran reciters "Abu Hanifa", actual address: Kosshy village, Embankment street 31. To date, 30 young men are trained in the center, and certificates of completion are issued at the end.

 

The results of the ongoing awareness-raising work.

in terms of information and prevention work, the Department of Internal Policy conducted 15 multi-format events with visits to localities, which covered more than 230 people, including:

1) educational conversations in organizations and institutions;

2) a dialogue platform;

3) meetings;

4) online conversations.

Monitoring the development of the religious situation and organizing information and explanatory work in the institutions of the criminal correctional system.

The legal culture in the country is closely connected with the moral, spiritual, political and, above all, with the daily culture of behavior, expressed in the education of a person, his adaptation to order, discipline, organization, respect for the laws of our country.

There are no violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the religious sphere.
