Carries out within its competence the following: control over observance of the legislation about normative acts in the field of architecture and urban planning, verification of complaints on land issues, including the legality of the schemes in accordance with the land plan, the implementation and conduct of the state architectural and town-planning policy in the district, organization of preparation of draft plan district, master plan of rural settlements in the project placement of residential and public buildings projects in suburban areas, as well as projects of private buildings and structures, participation in the selection of land plots for construction and other urban development, organization of acceptance into operation of a number of objects of housing and civil, cultural and household, communal, as well as industrial purposes in the district.
