«Ashyq» mobile app

What is the «ASHYQ» app and how is it useful for entrepreneurs?
Using the application allows business objects to work regardless of restrictive measures and even in lockdown conditions.
The mobile application «Ashyq» allows you to use a QR code and integrate with the general PCR database to determine the status of the visitor: whether he is a carrier of the virus or not.
According to the resolution, the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan has defined the areas of activity within the framework of the «Ashyq» project:
1. Fitness clubs;
2. Spa centers;
3. Saunas, swimming pools;
4. Computer clubs (except for persons under 18 years of age);
5. Bowling clubs.
6. Movie theaters;
7. Theaters and philharmonic halls;
8. Public catering facilities, with the exception of banquet halls, canteens, fast food outlets, and street food outlets;
9. Inter-regional and urban irregular (tourist) transportation;
10. Billiard clubs;
11. Concert halls;
12. Voluntary participants;
13. Karaoke (from May 5, 2021);
14. Banquet halls (from May 5, 2021);
15. Exhibitions;
16. Oceanarium;
17. Marathons;
18. Sports events with spectators.

The app displays the risk rating, which is divided into red, yellow, blue, and green statuses.
The red status indicates restricted movement, compliance with a strict home isolation regime for persons under outpatient supervision.
Yellow – partial restriction of movement-the user is indicated in the PCR database as a contact: visits to grocery and hardware stores, pharmacies are allowed no further than 500 meters from the place where the patient observes the home isolation regime.
Blue - there are no restrictions on movement for this status, except in places where PCR is mandatory.
The green status indicates that there are no restrictions on movement and this user is marked in the database as having passed PCR testing with a negative result for COVID-19.
Displaying these statuses allows the business to continue its activities and not endanger visitors.
The QR code is assigned only to business entities.
Visitors also need to download the mobile application «Ashyq» to their phone, log in by phone number, enter the IIN and scan the QR code of the institution to register their visit.
When leaving the establishment, you also need to scan the QR code to record your exit.
If visitors do not have a smartphone, the app has a function for employees who control the entrance to the room, who can check the status of the visitor by using the IIN or scanning the barcode located on the identity card.
At the same time, the entrepreneur sees only the client's status: green, blue, yellow or red. It doesn't see any more data about the user.
The business entity participating in the project provides additional control to the already taken sanitary measures.
The use of the «Ashyq» application increases the prestige of the institution, ensures the safety of staff and visitors, demonstrates the customer-oriented nature of the business object and takes care of the health of visitors, since it is not uncommon for citizens to ignore the self-isolation regime, visit public places, and thus pose a threat of the spread of the virus.

The mobile application «Ashyq» was developed by a domestic IT company on the order of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Using the «Ashyq» application allows entrepreneurs to work even in the "red" zone.
In the test mode, the mobile application «Ashyq» was launched on January 17 of this year.
On April 30, 2021, the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 18 "On the introduction of the mobile application «Ashyq» at business facilities" was adopted.
According to the decree, the following work restriction criteria are applied at facilities using the «Ashyq»application:
- if the region is located in the "red zone", the criteria for restricting work according to the "yellow zone" will be applied»;
- if the region is located in the "yellow zone", the criteria for restricting work according to the"green zone" will be applied.
The Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Akmola region forms lists of entrepreneurs who want to participate in the Ashyq project.
The RPP then sends the data to the Infokazakhstan website.kz and in parallel there is a check for compliance with the OKED.
Then the Infokazakhstan platform.kz is assigned a QR code.
The lists of entrepreneurs who received the QR code are sent to the akimat of the region for posting on the official website and the department of sanitary and epidemiological control of the region.
