In the structure of industrial production, the subsidiary industry of agricultural formations occupies 29.8%, they produced products worth 132.4 million tenge, or 103.5% by the analonic period of 2019.
A certain contribution to the production of industrial products was made by small enterprises (30.7 % in the structure of industrial production), which produced products in the amount of 136.5 million tenge in January-March 2020, or 100.5% by the analonic period of 2020.
Households occupy 28.9 % of the total volume of industry and amounted to 128.2 million tenge.
Trade turnover
The volume of retail trade turnover for January-March 2020 amounted to 407.2 million tenge and 100.8% of the Federal budget.
SME
The number of operating small and medium-sized businesses is 983 units, which is 1.7% higher than the same period in 2019 (967 units). The share of active ones was 90.7 %. small businesses made payments to the budget in January-March 2020 of 193.8 million tenge (a decrease of 1.7% in 2019 of 335.2 million tenge).
In the structure of active business entities, the share of individual entrepreneurs prevails-52.2% (513 units), farms-34.3% (337 units), small business entities – 13.0% ( 128 units), medium business entities – 0.5% (5 units)
3.5 thousand people are employed in small and medium-sized businesses. people, which is 37 % of the economically active population of the district.
During the reporting period, 39 new jobs were created.
Industrial and innovative development
In 2020, 5 projects were introduced outside the map of industrialization of the Akmola region.

State program
According to the state grant of the DKB-2025 program, documents are being prepared for submission to the regional Department of entrepreneurship of the Akmola region by 7 individual entrepreneurs.this competition will be held in August.
3 companies received loans under the "Economy of simple things" program: village of Zhylandy K \ x Zhuldyz, Zhambyl s\o K \ x Dala, Sandyktau s \ o PT Zhanat. One project of K\x "Ali"is under consideration.
Nedra
There are two active subsurface users in the Sandyktau district: "Granites Kokshetau" LLP, Kamenskiy facing stone site, and "Sandyktau Quarry" LLP, Kamenskoye Deposit – 2 igneous rocks.
A license was obtained for the extraction of tungsten-molybdenum ores from "Yesil mining" LLP Aksoran Deposit.

Tourism
One of the priority directions in the economy of our district is the development of recreation and tourism infrastructure. Tourism is a source of income and part of the economy of any country. The unique natural conditions of our region determine the main tourist potential of the region and make it very attractive for many tourists. In the Sandyktau district there are 5 hotels, 8 guest houses with a capacity of up to 200 beds, 22 catering points, 5 operating gas stations,11 tire repair shops.
Priority directions of tourism development are ecological, cultural and educational, health-improving, business, sports, extreme, etc. Today, almost all existing types of tourism have prerequisites for development in our region, which is reflected in 10 tourist routes, both long (2-3 days) and 2-3 hours developed and successfully implemented by tour operators in our region. To popularize the sacred places of Sandyktau district among tourists a route to the tombstone that perpetuated the memory of Batyr Shamay in CCape Novonikolsky s/o. The development of children's and youth tourism is extremely important in the formation of a healthy lifestyle, culture of tourism, and love for the native land. Events are held annually (sports competitions, expeditions, hikes, gatherings, excursions, participation in tourist fairs, Republican forums, Republican turiads, tourist festivals).
