Transport and communications

Transport plays an extremely important role in the mobilization of huge resources of Kazakhstan, which provides a link between the branches of the national economy, between the producer and the consumer.

Transport as a type of branch of the national economy is divided into railway, automobile, urban, electric, pipeline, water and air transport.

Communication is of great importance not only for the economy of the country as a whole, but also for every citizen of the country.

In the system of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, two large state-owned enterprises operate - kAzakhtelecom OJSC and Kazpost OJSC.
