Today, the issues of ethics and behavior of civil servants are given great importance. In order to implement the Plan "100 steps" in the management by the head appointed Commissioner on the ethics of carrying out activities to ensure compliance with the business ethics and prevention of violations of legislation about state service, combating corruption and the code of Ethics of civil servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter — the code of Ethics), as well as Advisory within the scope of their functions, public servants and citizens.
The activities of the ethics Commissioner are carried out in accordance with the developed plan.
Since the beginning of this year, the Commissioner for management ethics has provided advice to two civil servants on compliance with legislation in the field of public service and the code of Ethics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In order to comply with the anti — corruption legislation, explanatory work was carried out to discuss the directions of the annual Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "New development opportunities in the fourth industrial revolution-the Fight against corruption and the rule of law".
In the first half of the year carried out an anonymous survey on observance of ethics and the state of moral and psychological climate in the team, constantly monitoring social networking on observance by civil servants of ethics.
No conflicts of interest have been identified in the past two years. The facts of joint service of close relatives who are in direct subordination, employment by civil servants in other paid activities are not established. There were no complaints about violations of the norms of service ethics by the Department's civil servants.
Publications in the media concerning civil servants are constantly monitored. Since the beginning of the year, no negative materials were detected during the monitoring.
Monitoring of compliance with restrictions related to stay in public service, requirements for termination of public service by civil servants, and measures of social protection of civil servants is being conducted.
Since the beginning of this year, employees of the Department have not been brought to disciplinary responsibility.
In General, the image of a civil servant is based on the manifestation of high professional and personal competencies, moral qualities and ethical behavior, which will continue to be the focus of the activities of the ethics Commissioner.
