Get information about your savings!
The UAPF has launched an annual campaign to inform its depositors and recipients about the state of pension savings by the end of 2021. This means that the preparation and distribution of statements on the status of individual pension accounts (IPS) of depositors (recipients) has begun, who have still retained the method of informing through traditional and electronic mail. There are 1.15 million depositors and recipients who chose to be informed in postal envelopes in the UAPF database at the beginning of this year. Gradually their number decreases. For example, at the beginning of 2021 there were 1.2 million people. If we consider a longer period, then since the merger of pension assets into the UAPF (mid-2014), the number of statements sent by mail has more than tripled.
At the same time, those who are still waiting for an extract in a postal envelope should remember that if the depositor (or recipient) has changed the address of residence, he must inform the Fund about it within 10 calendar days. Otherwise, the letter sent to the old address will be returned to the UAPF with the note "the addressee does not live" and in the future the status of informing such a contributor will appear as "undefined".
In parallel, the UAPF informs depositors (recipients) about the status of the IPS by sending statements to the email address specified in the contract (which were concluded earlier) or an additional agreement on the choice of the method of informing. At the beginning of 2022, more than 780 thousand people have chosen this type of receiving information about the state of the pension account. The frequency of receipt of the statement is determined by default "annually". Those who chose this method earlier indicated the period of receipt of the statement on their own (once a month, a quarter or a year). In addition, if the method of informing "By e-mail" is selected and the depositor has not changed the address entered in the ENPF database, you can send an extract to it at any time through the service "Get an extract from the IPS by e-mail" on the enpf website.kz using an electronic digital signature (EDS).
In order to be aware of the information about the status of the IPS at any time, without waiting for the mailing list, the EPPF recommends the most expeditious channel for obtaining information about their savings. For example, through a personal account on the enpf website.kz or in the mobile app. This method of informing is most popular and as of January 5, 2022, 6.2 million people chose it (an increase of +387 thousand people in 2021).
In addition, at the beginning of 2022, about 2.9 million people have a method of informing "when personally contacting the UAPF". Compared with the data at the beginning of last year, their number decreased by 133 thousand people. It should be noted that basically the number of those who have chosen a personal appeal is replenished at the expense of the owners of newly opened IPS. Currently, IPS in the UAPF are opened on an undeclared basis for all types of pension contributions. At the same time, the method of providing the UAPF with information on the state of pension savings is automatically determined "upon personal appeal to the UAPF", which the depositor (recipient) has the right to change independently by concluding an appropriate agreement directly at the Fund's office or on the UAPF website using an electronic digital signature.
You can form an extract from the IPS without entering into an agreement at any time in your personal account on the UAPF website and in the BZHZK mobile application/UAPF using an electronic digital signature (EDS). It can also be done using EDS through the egov e-government web portal.kz, where to get complete information about pension savings, including investment income, you need to choose the service "Providing information on the receipt and movement of funds of the depositor of the unified accumulative pension fund".
Whatever method of providing information you have determined, the UAPF reminds you of the need to regularly check your pension savings in order to be sure of the timely transfer of pension contributions, see the income received and plan your future.
