These truisms were recalled by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Yuri Ilyin, at a briefing in the Central Communications Service.
"We are entering the pre-summer period. I would like our citizens to have a rest, but taking into account the requirements of the pandemic, fulfilling all sanitary rules and regulations, and pay attention to the fact that we have a very high probability of an increase in mortality, deaths among the younger generation, children. This applies to both reservoirs, and leaving children alone unattended in high-rise buildings, children falling out of the windows of houses of various storeys, which lead to both injuries and death. Therefore, I draw the attention of parents and adults not to leave their children unattended, so that there are no such tragic consequences. Second, the fire danger period has come. The city of Ridder is an example of this. Going to various picnics outside the city, I would ask you to comply with the requirements of fire safety, not to allow the fire to be lit where it poses a threat to the forest area, and, accordingly, could lead to tragic consequences, the spread of fire to residential sectors. Remember about security and about criminal responsibility in case of violation!", - the general warned.
