GOV.KZ – Single platform for the digital resources of government agencies
The national Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and with support of foreign partners, conducted an operation to return group of Kazakh citizens from Syria. The group consists of 4 men, 1 women, and 7 children, including two orphans. In accordance with the national legistation and international obligations, individuals involved in terrorist activities will be prosecuted7 Orphans will be transferred to close relatives and the Government will provide them with all the necessary support. Women with children will be included in rehabilitation and resocialization programs.
The operation to repatriate citizens from Syria approved by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was a continuation of the humanitarian operation «Zhusan» initiated by first President-Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.
