With the aim of forming professional self-determination among graduates in the conditions of freedom of choice of a field of activity in schools of the region, much attention is paid to vocational guidance.
From the beginning of 2021-20221 academic year, students in grades 9, 10, 11 of the district were held:
- online forum "Contemporary Education";
- dialogue platforms within the framework of the project "Implementation of activities aimed at career guidance work, informing young people about the needs of the labor market";
- an online open day with representatives of the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilev;
- meetings with representatives of Nazarbayev University, EKSTU named after D. Serikbayev, the Academy of the Border Guard Service and the Academy of the National Security Committee;
- a stand-mob within the framework of the program for the modernization of public consciousness "Rukhani zhangyru" with representatives of 10 colleges from Ust-Kamenogorsk, Serebryansk and Altai;
- online testing within the framework of the "Professional navigation" project for choosing a profession on the EduNavigator.kz platform.
In the schools of the district there are 3 vocational guidance rooms equipped with stands about colleges and universities of the region, information about the enterprises of the district.
Career guidance work in schools allows you to create a comprehensive vocational guidance system that gives colleges and universities the right to conduct information work among graduates and parents.
