The work plan of the Commission on juvenile affairs and protection of their rights under the Akimat of Almaty region for 2020 has been drawn up. According to the plan, 4 meetings of the commission were held. Issues of prevention of offenses, drug addiction, alcohol and tobacco use, suicidal actions, domestic violence, sexual integrity, safety of children of educational organizations were considered and specific instructions were given to the relevant state bodies.
Also at the regular meetings of the commission, issues of organizing summer holidays for children, observing the rights and legitimate interests of children with disabilities, organizing the charity event "Road to School", rehabilitating women and children who returned from terrorist activity zones within the framework of Operation Zhusan were discussed, and protocol instructions were given to relevant state institutions.
