External relations 2019

During 2019 the following meetings were organized with representatives of foreign States, including:

- investors from Germany at the initiative of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Germany B.Nusupov (May);

- delegation of the republic of Tatarstan, arrived to the region to participate in Sabantuy-2019 (May);

- delegation of big French companies Loste Group (meat processing project) and Idemia Identity&Security France (project of Safe city) headed by  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ph.Martine (October);

- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Kasaiy Tatsuhiko for the Grass roots project at sport-sanative center “Asar” (November);

- the First Deputy of Belarusian Prime-Minister A.Turchin, the Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan A. Nichkasov at the ceremony of opening the Belarusian pavilion in “Khorgos” International Center of Border Cooperation (October);

- the head of representative office of the Ministry of culture and tourism of China in Nur-Sultan Mr.Van Shulin – discussion of joint events in the sphere of tourism;

- Thailand delegation headed by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Chonburi province (Pattaya) Mr. Kampol Supornsahatrangsy in order to consider the possibility of organizing a making of a Thai film in Kazakhstan (October);

 

- Independent election observers from Germany, Kyrgyzstan and representatives of Shanghay Organization of Cooperation (June).

In October “Jetysu Invest -2019” international business forum of entrepreneurship, investment and innovation was held with the participation of representatives of business and the diplomatic corps.

There were also working visits of the regional delegations to:

• The Republic of Singapore and Kingdom of Thailand with the aim of expanding and strengthening of regional cooperation and attracting investments to the region (March);
• Moscow to take part in trade-industrial exhibition-fair “Made in Kazakhstan” (September);
• Kirghizstan to take part in the V^th Meeting of the Supreme interstate Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic (November);
• The Republic of Belarus as independent election observers consisting of the Regional Maslikhat Secretary and deputy head of the staff of the regional Governor (November);
• Business-forum in Netherlands, head of the department of entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development and director of “The regional center of development of Almaty region” LLP (November).
