The Department carries out its activities in accordance with the Regulations of the Department. The functions of the Department are: determination of the divisibility and indivisibility of land plots, organization of land management and approval of land management projects, organization of the development of land zoning projects, projects and schemes for the rational use of land in the region, examination of projects and schemes affecting the use and protection of land, organization and conduct of work on the forced alienation of land for state needs, as well as preparation of materials to judicial authorities on the forced alienation of land.
