INFORMATIONAL MESSAGE for national and regional organizations mass media
In connection with the scheduled election of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on August 12 2020 the Central election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs the following:
1. In accordance with the requirements of paragraph 3 of article 28 of the constitutional law "On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" information on the amount of payment, conditions and order of providing air and print space must be announced and published by the relevant mass media not later than five days before the start of the campaign (no later than 18 July 2020), and presented to the CEC at:, Nur-Sultan, Beibitshilik str 4, e-mail: v.zheksembekova@election.gov.kz, a.khusainova@election.gov.kz.
2. mass media May not provide airtime or print space for placement or distribution of candidates ' campaign materials before publishing information about the amount of payment, conditions and procedure for providing airtime and print space.
3. Election campaigning begins at the end of the registration period for candidates – 18 hours on July 23, 2020, and ends at zero hours local time on August 11, 2020.
