ANNOUNCEMENT
We invite you to the Open Day at JSC 'UAPF': explaining the purpose and mechanism of implementing the project “National Fund for Children.”
As part of the informational and explanatory work among the population, on November 29, 2023, JSC "UAPF" will hold an Open Day on the topic: State Program "National Fund for Children."
During the online meeting on the Open Day organized by UAPF, the Fund's specialists will inform participants about the purpose of the "National Fund for Children" project, its implementation mechanism, and address any questions.
Starting from January 1, 2024, as per the directive of the head of the state, the "National Fund for Children" project will be launched. Under this initiative, 50% of the investment income of the National Fund will be annually distributed among children of all ages up to 18 years. As of October 1, 2023, their number in Kazakhstan exceeds 7 million people. The income is averaged over the eighteen years preceding the reporting year. The amounts credited to the children will continue to be invested as part of the National Fund's assets, with additional investment income being accrued on them.
The main goal of the "National Fund for Children" project is to support the younger generation and provide them with the opportunity to improve their housing conditions or obtain education through national savings. In this way, Kazakhstani children can use the funds from the National Fund, which will be credited to them until they reach adulthood, for two purposes: education, including in foreign universities, and the purchase of housing.
Until the children reach the age of 18, targeted requirements and investment income will be accrued without the right of early withdrawal.
The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund has been designated as the Operator responsible for accounting for targeted requirements (obligations), targeted assets, targeted savings in targeted accumulation accounts, and the execution of payments for targeted savings. It is worth noting that UAPF has significant practical experience in implementing socially significant projects, possesses unique information technology systems for personalized accounting and remote services, and has a developed regional network to provide accessible services to the population.
Information about whether a child is a participant in the program can be obtained by their legal representatives in their personal account on the egov.kz portal. Additionally, regular reports on the program will be posted on the official website of the UAPF (enpf.kz).
To include a child in the list of recipients of disbursements from the National Fund, parents or other legal representatives of children do not need to gather any documents, open accounts, or go anywhere, as the process is automated. UAPF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is conducting the necessary integration work, and accounts will be opened in JSC "UAPF" automatically based on the State Database "Individuals."
Parents (or legal representatives) of children only need to check in advance the presence and accuracy of entering the Individual Identification Number (IIN) of their underage child on the egov.kz portal.
We invite everyone, as well as representatives of the media, to an online meeting dedicated to explaining the purpose and implementation mechanism of the "National Fund for Children" project. We hope it will be useful for journalists to understand and cover the new social state program "National Fund for Children," as well as for all participants in the meeting.
