The main task of the Department is to participate in reforms in the field of veterinary medicine, its development and improvement.;
- providing methodological and practical assistance in organizing veterinary events ; ;
- Performing other powers assigned to local Executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the interests of local government.
Basic rights of the Department:
- participation in meetings and other events held by the veterinary Department on issues related to the competence of the Department;
- Creation of working groups for the purpose of analyzing the orders of the head of the Department that are within the competence of the Department;
- use in accordance with the established procedure of information data banks under the jurisdiction of state bodies and organizations;
- operation of state communications systems;
- exercise of other powers on behalf of the head of the Department;
- request and receive in accordance with the established procedure from structural divisions of the veterinary Department, other state bodies and officials documents and materials related to issues considered in the Department.
