In accordance with article 11 of The law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 10, 2002 "on veterinary medicine" (hereinafter - the Law), there are enterprises of district (city) veterinary stations with 20 subordinate veterinary points of the regional veterinary Department. In total, 2,063 specialists work at veterinary stations, including 1,381 veterinary specialists.
Paragraph 1 of article 35 of the Act, 3), 3-1) in accordance with items created by local Executive bodies at the expense of budgetary funds financed the costs of the veterinary organizations and the order of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2014 "on approval of normative legal acts in the field of Veterinary medicine" №7-1/559, in accordance with paragraph 3 of the order, against especially dangerous animal diseases, veterinary Prevention, diagnosis, and that the destruction at the expense of budget funds. For these purposes, 3 601.08 million tenge was allocated at the expense of budget funds for the implementation of the plan of anti-epizootic measures in 2020.
In addition, district (city) veterinary stations provide a state service for identifying farm animals and issuing veterinary certificates on a free basis.
