In 2022, 8.9 billion tenge was allocated for the rehabilitation of disabled people, of which 3.8 billion tenge was allocated for the services of an individual assistant.
In the region of 2022, 66953 citizens with disabilities were registered, including: disabled people of group I – 6288, disabled people of group II – 27448, disabled people of group III – 24020, disabled children under 18 – 9197 people.
Since January 1, 2021, the issuance of technical means of rehabilitation and social services is provided through the "Social Services Portal".
The register of the Social Services Portal includes 13 providers of rehabilitation equipment, 8 providers of sanatorium treatment, 55 providers providing special social services, 3286 individual assistants, 69 sign language specialists.
As of April 1, 2022, the number of persons with disabilities in need of technical means of rehabilitation is 21,131, 12,220 have been ordered, which is 57.8% (the national average is 49.0%).
