There are 20 cultural objects in the district, including 9 libraries, 10 cultural centers, and 1 Museum.
In the district there are 2 folk art groups such as the ensemble of grandmothers "Altyn Kazyna" and the folk ensemble "Akalkyn".
For 2020, the Department of culture and language development of the akimat of Raiymbek district approved an action plan. It includes solemn meetings, round tables, scientific and practical conferences, meetings with abayists, writers, thematic exhibitions, competitions and other festive events. To date, cultural workers have held 113 socially significant cultural events.
In order to hold the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and educator Abay Kunanbayev in 2020, Raiymbek district approved an action plan at the content level. As part of the celebration of the anniversary of the great Kazakh poet, the regional library organized an exhibition of books and works of the poet "Abay Alemi".
On February 28, this year, the village of Karasaz held a Republican literary and musical evening " Abay zhakkan bir Saule sunbeu ush!", dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev.
Cultural workers praised the work of the great Kazakh poet, performing his songs and poems. In addition, they presented theatrical productions based on the" Words of edification " of the great educator.
Among the honored guests were the First Deputy Chairman of the Union of writers, poet Akberen Elgesem, poet, member of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan Itain Abdiel, a journalist, Serik Abikenova, chief editor of "Mukagali", the poet Batik Magically, composer Beibit Caldenby, the son was Mukali Zhuldyz Makatayev Makataev and other representatives of the creative intelligentsia.
Also, festive events such as "March 1 - day of gratitude", "March 22 - holiday of Nauryz", regional competition "Zhyrlaidy Zhurek", Republican competition "Uly Dala urpagy" and others are traditionally held.
In connection with the 90th anniversary of akyn M. Makatayev in 2021, it is planned to carry out a thorough repair of the house of culture in the village of Karasaz in the amount of 41 million 230 thousand tenge and the literary and memorial Museum named after M. Makatayev in the amount of 19 million 602 thousand tenge.
An application was submitted for the amount of 68 million 826 thousand tenge for the installation of a monument to M. Makatayev in the center of the district.
Work is underway to restore The Narynkol national theater.
For the 1st quarter of 2020, the book Fund is 111691 books. Of these, books in the Kazakh language – 68150. New books received-550. 430 of them are in Kazakh. To date, 550 new books and 550 retrofond books have been added to the RABIS library and information system. 198 different events were held in the libraries of the district. 17 events were held in the literary and memorial Museum named after M. Makatayev. Among them: 5 literary evenings, 4 exhibitions, 5 lectures, 3 festive events.
Since 2020, the center for language development offers free courses in state, Latin and English. To date, the number of listeners is 56. For reasons of the state of emergency in Kazakhstan, classes are held online.
In online mode, the library held 27 events, the house of culture-19, and the Museum-2.
To date, cultural workers have sewn and distributed 4281 masks to residents of the district, 41 low-income families have distributed food, 2 families-meat.
In all cultural institutions, the state of emergency is observed, antiseptic drugs are installed, and cultural workers work in a mask mode.
