There are 23401 hectares of irrigated land in the region. Of these, 18080 hectares were irrigated by 8 main canals with a length of 141 km. Design and estimate documentation was developed on 6 of these 8 canals and the results of state expertise were obtained (2 billion dollars 871 million tenge were allocated for construction work, design and estimate documentation is being prepared for the remaining 2 canals. For construction work 613 million tenge were allocated, in total, 3 billion 484 million tenge were calculated for the construction work of 8 channels).
5321 hectares of land have been irrigated through the on-farm canals; their length is 151 km. There are 12 on-farm canals. In the village of Karasaz, SNB Biz & Group LLP is building a milk processing plant. It is planned to complete construction work by the end of 2021. In 2022, it is planned to import 400 heads of Simmental dairy cows, currently 200 head of cattle are registered. Commissioning in 2022 - production of dairy products, including: milk, sour cream, cheese, kurt, Turkish ayran.
136 peasant farms are engaged in pedigree work of cattle and sheep breeding in the region. To increase breeding indicators, 169 heads of breeding bulls are used, in breed transformation
