There are 107 units for physical culture and sports in the Raiymbek district, of which there are 12 objects of physical culture and sports significance (FSM), 83 educational organizations (OO), 12 sports schools (SM) (including 110 in rural areas) sports facilities.

Of these: 3 sports complexes (including 1 sports and recreation complex), 15 shooting ranges, 55 planar structures, 31 sports halls, 3 sports halls.

In the Rayymbek district in 2022 , in pursuance of the development program of the Department of Physical Culture , the following works were carried out:

Sports facilities: There are 107 sports facilities operating in rural areas in the district.

In 2023, it is planned to put into operation the sports complexes under construction in the villages of Sumba, Kyzylshekara.

Physical education personnel:

- In fact, during this time, 146 full-time workers in physical culture and sports work in the district. Compared to 2021, the number of employees increased by 8 full-time units (of which the number of physical education teachers increased in 6 educational schools; the number of coaches increased in 2 sports schools;).

Physical culture and wellness work:

At the moment, there are 45 physical culture and sports collectives in the district, in which 11104 people are engaged in sports. This represents 37.8 percent of the district's population engaged in physical culture and sports. Compared to 2021, it grew by 2.4 percent.

According to the statistical indicator, as of October 1, 2022, the population of the Rayymbek district is 29,377 people.

In pursuance of the instruction of the Head of State on bringing the population engaged in mass sports to 35 percent, in the Raiymbek district, the municipal state institution “Center for Mass Sports Events" issued 14 methodologists-instructors in sports, who currently work in all rural districts in sports: volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis and others hold competitions, take part in district competitions, sports contests with the selection of teams of rural districts.

The exercises of athletes are held free of charge under an approved contract in all sports complexes of the district, a sports and recreation complex, a children's and youth sports school, sports halls of secondary schools, stadiums and other bases.

For people with disabilities with disabilities, there are special ramps for unhindered entry and exit to the sports facilities of the district. Conditions have been created for sports and are serviced free of charge.

In order to promote a healthy lifestyle and the development of mass sports, 52 regional and district sports events have been organized since the beginning of the year, in which 6,000 people took part. Of these, 5 competitions are republican, 12 regional, 35 district levels.

Since the beginning of the year, 15 candidates for master of sports and 20 athletes of the first degree, 8 athletes of the second degree, 6 athletes of the third degree have been trained.

According to the results of the third quarter of this year, 15 services were provided in the department for the provision of public services.

Since the beginning of the year, the athletes of the district have won 67 medals (23 gold, 26 silver and 18 bronze) at regional, republican and international competitions.

Work will continue to improve indicators in the field of physical culture and sports, achieve high results and provide the population of the district with sports infrastructure.
