How to get a good pension in the future? Why is the regularity of pension contributions a modern global trend? And how to protect yourself and receive a "white salary" with all the deductions? These and many questions were answered by the employees of the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund during the traditional meeting with contributors within the framework of the Open Doors Day.
For the second year now, the UAPF has been holding its events in the virtual space. The coronavirus infection (Covid-19) pandemic has made its own adjustments, and unfortunately, meetings with contributors cannot be held in person at the fund's branches.
Anyone could attend the event using the online platform and join the Open Doors Day without leaving the walls of their home.
The theme of the event was “Individual Pension Plan - Trend of the New Generation”. The target audience of the event was college and university students, as well as young people under 25 years old.
As you know, it is the new generation of Kazakhstani people of retirement age who will rely on their savings through compulsory pension contributions (CPC), compulsory occupational pension contributions (COPC) and voluntary pension contributions (VPC). In this regard, young people need to start shaping their future today.
Kazakhstan is in the middle of a accumulative pension system, at the moment there can be contributors in the system who have saved for only 23 years, while the full cycle must be at least 40 years. However, due to historical and economic factors, this physically could not have happened earlier. It is the new generation that has the chance to go through the full cycle and receive a high pension in 40 years.
The contributors who participated in the Open Doors Day event calculated their own future pension using a pension calculator and clearly made sure that with regular replenishment of their pension saving account they can significantly increase their pension benefits from the UAPF.
The event was held throughout the country with a high attendance, each of the participants was satisfied and satisfied with the electronic format of the Open Doors Day, and many expressed a desire to save up for their old age at the beginning of their career in order to appreciate all the advantages of the accumulative pension system in the future.
