Tuberculosis is a widespread infectious disease of humans and animals in the world, caused by various types of mycobacteria or otherwise Koch sticks. Tuberculosis usually affects the lungs, less often affecting other organs and systems, is transmitted by airborne droplets during conversation, coughing and sneezing of the patient. For a person, the disease is socially significant. Until the XX century, tuberculosis was almost incurable. Currently, a comprehensive program has been developed to identify and cure the disease.
The State Institution "Department of Employment and Social Programs of the city of Kapshagai", in accordance with the decision of the Kapshagai City Maslikhat No. 54-201 dated July 18, 2019 "On approval of the Rules for providing social assistance, setting the size and determining the list of certain categories of needy citizens of the city of Kapshagai", provides citizens with a socially significant disease (tuberculosis patients who were on outpatient treatment), social assistance in the amount of 5 (five) minimum calculated indicators.
The State Institution "Department of Employment and Social Programs of the city of Kapshagai" and the State Enterprise on the PVC "Kapshagai City Hospital" work closely together, according to the phthisiologist, social assistance is prescribed in a timely manner to tuberculosis - sick citizens who are on outpatient treatment.
From January to July 2021, social assistance was assigned to 51 citizens.
The State Institution "Department of Employment and Social programs of the city of Kapshagai" accepts applications from citizens who have a permanent or temporary residence permit in Kapshagai or Kapshagai region, with a socially significant disease (tub.patients) who are on outpatient treatment without restrictions
