The kegen District Probation Service of the Department of UIs of Almaty region has two convicts who are registered among persons sentenced to a type of punishment not related to isolation from society,who are involved in public work through the city and district courts and who do not have a permanent job under the sentence of restriction of Liberty. They carry out their assigned work in the administration of the rural district at their place of residence. Working hours of convicted persons are calculated in hours. Twenty hours a week, four hours a day. Involvement in public and forced labor is carried out on the basis of an order of the Akim of the rural district. Persons involved in this work are checked and monitored by employees of the Probation Service at their workplaces and residential addresses.
