Machine Builder's day

On the last Sunday of September, machine builders of Kazakhstan celebrate their professional holiday. Traditionally, this date has been celebrated since the Soviet Union. Keeping true to the rich traditions, machine builders ' Day continues to be celebrated on the last Sunday of September not only in Kazakhstan, but also in other States – former Soviet republics.

 

Traditionally, the eve of the holiday in the capital of the Republic held a Forum, held with the participation of heads and representatives of such branches of industry as oil and gas, mining and metallurgical, railway, defense, agricultural, electrical and opto-electronic engineering, automotive and other industries.

 

A significant part of enterprises engaged in a particular branch of mechanical engineering is United in the "Union of machine builders of Kazakhstan". This Association is designed to promote the integration of enterprises, coordinate their activities, and promote products on the domestic and foreign markets.

 

Kazakhstan's machine-building industry maintains close ties with the post-Soviet States, and first of all with its partners in the EEU. The Kazakh forum of machine builders is another confirmation of this, as representatives of machine building from different countries meet here, and not only domestic but also international cooperation projects are discussed.

 

Mechanical engineering is the most important branch of the economy of any modern industrially developed state. The basis of mechanical engineering in Kazakhstan consists of enterprises that produce products for the mining and oil and gas industries. There are also a large number of companies on the market that produce products for completely different sectors of the economy.

 

At official events, such as the forum of machine builders held in September, the achievements of machine-building enterprises are celebrated and awards are given to the leading manufacturers. Employees of the industry themselves celebrate their professional holiday by working groups, as well as in the family circle.
