Youth policy

At the initiative of Elbasy N.Nazarbayev, departments and youth centers were established in all regions. Since April 1, 2013, a branch of the Youth Resource Center of the Karasai district has been operating in the district. The branch has 6 staff units: 1 manager, 4 specialists, 1 psychologist. According to official statistics, in Karasai district, the number of young people aged 14 to 29 years is 56,475 people. Rural youth - 44,219, urban - 12,256 people.

Since 2014, instructors-methodologists for youth work have been allocated to each rural district, including the city of Kaskelen. There are 11 full-time units in total. As part of the program to reduce youth unemployment, the Zhasyl El program is implemented annually, which traditionally includes seasonal youth employment. In 2021, 66 young people were employed in July, and 63 people were employed in August.On February 10, 2021, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a nationwide project "Marathon of Good Deeds" was launched on the initiative of the Head of State Kassym Jomart Tokayev. Within its framework, the youth of the district held 30 charity events. As part of the campaign, the volunteers of the district provided support to 289 Karasai residents, families raising children with special needs. The charitable foundation "Halyk" contributed to this good cause. With the assistance of this foundation, 870 food baskets were distributed to Karasai residents three times under the motto "El tiregi - El Basy".

In addition, in order to comply with the quarantine regime, during the pandemic in the country, in accordance with the decree of the chief sanitary doctor, a group of "Sanitary Assistant" was created from among young volunteers. In public places with a mass population and in markets, actions were organized under the motto "Wear masks", and 10 thousand masks were distributed.

Since the beginning of the year, 18 environmental actions have been held with the participation of the youth of our district. Such as, "Youth for a clean city", "Bloom, Kazakhstan, native land", "Clean Karasai", "Clean Lake", etc.

Also, in order to carry out explanatory work among the villagers on the portal "Egov.kz - 2021" 17 actions were organized by the youth and assistance was provided to 6,700 residents in obtaining various online services.

In order to implement the state youth policy, social projects are being implemented: "With a diploma to the village!", "Youth Practice", "Zhasyl El" and others.
