A fire-dangerous period has begun in Kazakhstan - every spring the natural resources of our republic are in great danger - there is a threat of forest-steppe fires. Most often, the person himself is to blame for this: there is an unauthorized burning of dry grass, stubble in the fields, cleaning of garden plots and, as a result, burning of garbage and grass. In addition, the population begins to massively travel to nature, not observing the rules of fire safety on vacation.
Most fires during this period occur due to the careless handling of fire by citizens and childish pranks. The lack of proper control over children and the negligence of the adults themselves - these are the factors that lead to big trouble. The fire, quickly spreading through the dry grass, spreads to various buildings, vehicles, summer cottages and garden houses, causing enormous material damage and threatening people's lives. In addition, fire poses a huge threat to the national wealth of our country - unique forests.
To save them, as well as to prevent the danger to people's lives, it is necessary to strictly observe a number of simple rules:
- in advance, clear the area adjacent to housing and gardening plots from dry grass and debris;
- do not allow garbage dumps on the territory of residential buildings, as well as near forests;
- do not burn garbage near residential buildings, in summer cottages and in forest areas;
- during the fire hazard period, limit access to the forest, do not make fires and do not use open flames, do not throw smoldering cigarette butts;
- in every possible way cross the games of children with fire;
- burn dry grass and last year's foliage in specially designated places and under close supervision;
- Do not leave an unextinguished fire. It must be carefully filled with water or covered with sand.
“If a fire does occur, then at the initial stage it can be extinguished with water or covered with a wet tablecloth, blanket, any other dense non-synthetic material, if possible, use a fire extinguisher of the appropriate class. But when the flames have already spread, you need to call 101 as soon as possible and leave the danger zone in the shortest and safest way. The Department of Emergency Situations of the Almaty Region once again reminds that irresponsibility, negligence, non-compliance with fire safety rules can turn into a big disaster and cause irreparable damage to the natural wealth of our country.
