According to the approved schedule of working visits of the interdepartmental commission to consider problematic issues and shortcomings that arose during the provision of public services in the Enbekshikazakh district on May 13 of this year, members of the Interdepartmental Commission of the akimat of the district, consisting of deputy of the Almaty regional Maslikhat, member of the Amanat party Abitov Erik Azilzhanovich, conducted public monitoring of the akims of the Saimasai and Zhanashar rural districts in order to improve the quality of public services, including the creation of a "barrier-free environment" when receiving public services.
As a result of the working trip, numerous violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities and the provision of public services were revealed (the absence of an emergency evacuation scheme for the hard of hearing and deaf, as well as wheelchair users, visually impaired persons and signs about priority services for disabled people in state agencies, ramps do not comply with established standards, the call button for disabled people does not work).
For all identified violations, service providers have been given appropriate recommendations and a deadline for their execution.
