The analysis of the criminogenic situation of fraudulent crimes in the Enbekshikazakh district showed that the increase in crime increased by 106% (from 58 to 62).
One of the crimes against property is fraud, which is defined in the criminal law as the theft of someone else's property or the acquisition of the right to someone else's property by deception or abuse of trust.
Recently, obviously unfulfilled promises to provide assistance for money or other material benefits have become common types of fraud:
-in employment in general or in a "profitable place"
- in the acquisition of social housing out of turn or not at all due to the law to a specific person under the state program
-in the acquisition of land plots and various types of loans from the bank
-the purchase of housing at low market prices "only for their own", or the sale of "dummy" apartments to which the guilty person has nothing to do at all
-scams with bank loans
- creation of false enterprises, various financial pyramids
-the use of modern technology to steal funds through fake bank payment cards, etc.
In order not to become a victim of Internet scammers, do not run suspicious programs on your smartphones or computers and do not visit resources with questionable content.
For example, they may call you from an unknown subscriber number and introduce themselves as bank employees. Next, an unidentified person will say that they want to take a loan in a particular bank for a certain amount in your name and ask you to download the bank's application, as well as another previously unknown application. Further, an unknown person with the help of these applications, having gained access to your personal account, will transfer funds to his account.
A distinctive feature of the objective side of fraud is that the victim, being in a state of conscientious delusion, voluntarily transfers property or grants the criminal the right to property. As a result, the transfer of property usually looks outwardly like an agreement of the parties, a transaction. However, such a transaction is legally illegal, because it was committed to the detriment of the will of the victim.
Property damage to the victim may be caused, as stated in the criminal law, "not only by taking possession of his property consisting of money or material values, but also as a result of illegal acquisition of the right to his property."
At the same time, we ask citizens to be vigilant about such offenses and, if crimes are detected, immediately inform the police by phone 102.
