Key indicators of the UAPF as of November 1, 2022
As of November 1, 2022, pension savings in the amount of 14.15 trillion tenge were formed on the accounts of depositors of the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund. Since the beginning of the year, pension savings have increased by more than 1 trillion tenge (or 8.2%).
As of November 1, 13.7 trillion tenge was accumulated on individual pension accounts (IPS) for mandatory pension contributions (OPV) (this is 97% of the total amount of savings). Since January 1, 2022, savings on OPV have increased by 1 trillion tenge (or almost 8%). The amount of pension savings on mandatory professional pension contributions (OPP) amounted to about 426 billion tenge, having increased by 18% in 10 months. The largest increase – about 85%% since the beginning of the year – was demonstrated by accumulations on voluntary pension contributions (DPV), which amounted to about 3.2 billion tenge.
The amount of pension contributions for 10 months of 2022 amounted to about 1.4 trillion tenge, which is 29% or almost 308 billion tenge higher than last year. It should be noted that the growth occurred for all types of contributions: compared to the same period last year, the volume of OPV increased by 28% (or by 289 billion tenge), OPV – by 38% (or by 17.3 billion tenge), the largest increase – 228% or 1.3 billion tenge – occurred in the DPV.
About 646 billion tenge was credited to the accounts of depositors and recipients in the form of net investment income.
Since the beginning of the year, the UAPF has paid about 1.1 trillion tenge. Most of the payments were still lump-sum pension payments (EPO) for improving housing conditions and treatment – 889.6 billion tenge. However, this figure is more than 2 times less than in the same period last year.
Payments by age increased by 23.5% and amounted to about 97.2 billion tenge. It is worth noting that the amount of the average monthly payment according to the schedule from the UAPF (due to reaching retirement age) it amounted to 29,877 tenge, and the maximum amount of monthly payment was 707,326 tenge.
Inheritance payments were also made - 51.6 billion tenge, payments in connection with permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan – 41.7 billion tenge, disability payments - 1.99 billion tenge, funeral payments – 4.5 billion tenge. About 21.3 billion tenge has been transferred to insurance organizations.
The number of individual pension accounts in the UAPF as of November 1, 2022 amounted to 12.1 million units, 10.9 million of which are for mandatory pension contributions. The number of accounts for the OPV is 588,052 units, 352,824 IPS are open for the accounting of the DPV. At the same time, about 160 thousand OPV accounts, about 50 thousand OPV accounts and more than 293 thousand DPV accounts have been opened since the beginning of the year.
