It is necessary for every child traveling outside Kazakhstan to have their own passport. A passport is obtained at the PSC. If your child has not reached the age of 12, do not forget to look at the validity period of the document. A passport for them is issued every five years. But children grow up quickly, and border guards sometimes cannot recognize a child from a photo. In this case, the passport is subject to exchange, even if its term is not over yet.
IT IS NECESSARY TO KNOW: with different citizenship of the parents, a notarized consent from the parent of a foreigner will be required.
List of documents for obtaining a children's passport:
- Child's birth certificate;
- Documents and the presence of one of the parents;
- A photo of the child can be taken directly in the PSC department;
- Receipt of payment of state duty (8 MCI).
