Brief information:
Three people were drafted from the Balkhash district in 1966 to serve in the Navy. These servicemen took part in combat operations in the Arab Republic of Egypt - Israel as part of the Navy. This war began in June 1967 and lasted until the end of 1968.
They took part in military operations in Vietnam in July, September, November, and the months of 1969. And also participated in the military operations of Syria in July, September, November 1970.
34 people took part in the Afghan war, 32 of them returned to their homeland. This war began in 1979 and ended in 1989.
12 people from our district participated in the conflicts on the Tajik-Afghan border, which began in November 1992 and ended in September 2001
