Biography
Medet Zhienbayuly The poet Medet Zhienbayuly was born in 1888 in the village of Kokzhide, Balkhash district of Almaty region. People's poet, zhyrau Medet Zhienbayuly showed natural poetic quality from a very early age. At a young age, he begins to sing songs, read poetry and participates in aitys at holidays, gets acquainted with the art of poetry. The poet was admitted to the party in 1924 and elected chairman of the trade union committee. In 1921-1942, after the establishment of Soviet power in the region, he was actively involved in party work. In those years, in the villages of our region, he fought with bandit groups of Amirbek and Kusherbay, who incited discord among the civilian population. Medet Zhienbayuly made a huge contribution for a peaceful life for a peaceful life of the people, with his poems he addressed the people and called for unity. In 1921-1930. was the volost of the village of Shegelek, Balkhash region (Shegelek - administrative-territorial division) In 1930-1934. was the head of the "Zagotzhivsoyuz" collective farm In 1934-1939. was the political secretary of the collective farm Eltai and Aktogay In 1939, he worked in various economic works of the district In 1987, many poems by Medet Zhienbayuly were published in the poetic book of folk poets "Shugyla".In 1987, many poems by Medet Zhienbayuly were published in the poetic book of folk poets "Shugyla".
