Biography
Maltabarov Amantai Zhailauovich was born in 1935 in the village of Ir, Balkhash region. While serving in the ranks of the Soviet Army in 1954-1956, he took an active part in public works, distinguished himself by organizational and business skills. He was an assistant to the deputy commander of the regiment for political work and honorably served as an officer.
The work done and the good deeds of Amantai Zhailauovich were also noticed by the leaders of the district. Amantai Zhailauovich was a deputy of the district council, a member of the executive committee. In 1957 he was appointed to a leading position in the regional department of culture. Thus began a successful work that aroused universal admiration and respect. Amantai Zhailauovich put his soul into serving for the good of the country. Convinced that the work would go forward, Amantai Zhailauovich repaired the club and created an additional hall on his own. Built a summer cinema in the park.
Thus, this work was organized not only in the regional center, but also in all villages. At that time, the economy of the district gave the best buildings for recreation and leisure of the population for clubs. Twice a year, regional amateur art competitions were held, in which more than 200 people took part. And as soon as "People's Theaters" began to be organized in the republic, our region was one of the first under the leadership of Amantai Zhailauovich to be awarded the high title of "People's Theater". Soon the title of the theater founded by Amantay Zhailauovich spread throughout the republic. In addition to their folk talents, artists from other regions began to come to our area. Then our "People's Theater" performed with its repertoire in three regions of our republic and the Kirghiz SSR. Now Amantai Zhailauovich's goal was a large club house. Instead of a club house for 150 people, established by the region, Amantai Zhailauovich achieved the construction of the current large cultural center, updated the material and technical base. At that time, such a house of culture was only in the city of Akmola.
In 1971-1975 he worked as the director of the regional state muskrat farm, in 1975-1977 he was the chairman of the planning department of the district executive committee. From 1977 to 1997, he served as director of the district utility company.
For merits in the field of culture, he was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, the badge "Honored Worker of Culture of the Kazakh SSR", the badge "Excellent Worker of Public Utilities" for services in the field of housing and communal services, as well as many certificates of honor.
Thanks to his work and patriotism for the Motherland, Amantai Zhailauovich left a good name in the memory of people.
