In the village of Bakanas there is a typical central district hospital with 110 beds built in 1986 with a polyclinic for 300 visits. The total area of the CRH building is 6195 sq.m.
GKP on the PCV "Balkhash CRH" is located in a three-storey building. Major repairs were carried out in 2020 (exterior cladding). There are two separate entrances for children and adults.
The planned capacity is 300 visits per shift. The polyclinic works from 8 o'clock to 20 o'clock on a rolling schedule. The reception of doctors is organized in 24 specialties, there is a day hospital, as well as all medical and diagnostic rooms.
The 110-bed hospital is located in a three-storey standard building built in 1986. Major repairs were carried out in 2020 (food hall, therapeutic department).

The total bed capacity is 172 beds.
There are 70 beds in the district to provide inpatient replacement care.
The hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment and equipment: ultrasound machine, digital mammography machine, digital fluorography machine, X-ray machine, modern equipment for physiotherapy.
There are offices: ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopic, physiotherapy, dental, otolaryngological, ophthalmological, surgical, endocrinological, psychiatric, narcological, obstetric-gynecological, ECG office, etc.
Digitalization of the hospital
The equipment of computers is 100%. The medical institutions of the district are connected to the Internet, but there are problems in the villages with Internet speed. All existing medical information systems of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been implemented. Medical documentation is kept in the medical information system of the MIS "Zhetysu".
There is a PACS system with which specialists of various profiles have access to view the results of X-ray studies.
