No. 02-13/5 of the Akimat of the city of Alatau dated July 5, 2024, "On the Establishment of the City Budget Commission," which also approved the Regulations of the Commission.
The commission consists of a chairperson, a deputy chairperson, 13 commission members, and a commission secretary. The chairperson of the commission is the Akim (mayor) of the city of Alatau, and the deputy chairperson is the deputy Akim of the city of Alatau overseeing the areas of economy and budget planning. The commission members are the deputy Akims of the city.
Since the beginning of 2025, three meetings of the commission have been held. The meetings addressed issues related to the adjustment and clarification of the city budget for 2025, the determination of budget expenditure limits for budget program administrators for 2025–2026, as well as the results of the review of budget requests.
