A creative evening in honor of the anniversary of the famous writer S. Smataev took place in Almaty

Akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev took part in a festive event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the classic of Kazakh literature, writer Sofa Smataev.

The evening opened with the theatrical performance "Men Zhenemin!" The production was attended by S. Smataev himself and the actors of the Kazakh National Academic Drama Theater M. Auezov, on whose stage the evening took place.

The akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, read out warm words of congratulation addressed to S. Smataev from the First President - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev and the Head of State K.-J. Tokayev, who noted the great contribution of the hero of the day to the development of Kazakh literature.

In his congratulations, B. Sagintayev also emphasized the work of S. Smataev in the field of studying the works of classics and critics of Kazakh literature. Sofa Smataev is one of those writers who is devoted to the art of writing.

The akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev, stressed that the akimat will continue to support the creative intelligentsia. The akim of the city wished good health, creative success and prosperity to the hero of the day and his relatives. For his contribution to the development of the city, S. Smataev was awarded the badge of the Akimat of Almaty "Enbegi Ushin".

The creative evening, organized by the Akimat of Almaty, is a sign of gratitude for the talent and creativity of S. Smataev.

As the chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Ulykbek Esdaulet said, with the support of the Almaty Akimat, 30 different books of our masters of words with a total circulation of 65 thousand copies were published. Including, a 25-volume collection of works of the hero of the day, S. Smataev, was released. The books were added to the libraries of the city.
