More than 2.5 thousand Almaty residents have been provided with housing in 2020
In the past year, in Almaty, work on providing affordable housing was carried out under several state and city housing programs.
Thus, 949 apartments were purchased by young families within the framework of the "Almaty Zhastary 3.0" program, initiated by the order of the city Akim Bakhytzhan Sagintayev. Its participants were representatives of youth, workers in the fields of education, health care, culture, sports, social sphere, the media, as well as employees of universities and research institutes.
Another 432 apartments were purchased by those on the waiting list in accordance with the terms of the "Shanyrak" program, and 360 families acquired housing under the terms of preferential loans through "Zhilstroysberbank".
Representatives of large and single-parent families, as well as families raising children with disabilities, were purchased 365 apartments this year under the "Bakytty Otbasy" program.
From the communal housing stock, 429 apartments were distributed among representatives of socially vulnerable groups of the population and large families.
In total, 2535 Almaty families were provided with affordable housing last year. This work will continue in the coming year.
