1) coordinates routes and timetables for regular intra-regional road transport of passengers and baggage;
2) subsidizes the losses of carriers in the implementation of socially significant passenger transportation on intra-regional traffic;
3) organizes regular intra-regional transportation of passengers and baggage, approves their routes, organizes and conducts competitions for the right to service them, and approves timetables for routes;
4) performs operational management of passenger transport route networks that run on public roads;
5) maintains a register of routes for regular intra-regional road transport of passengers and baggage;
6) maintains a register of bus stations and bus stations;
7) develop a comprehensive scheme for the development of passenger transport and traffic management projects;
8) performs licensing in accordance with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on permits and notifications»;
9) maintain a register of individuals and legal entities that have submitted a notification of the start of special training activities for drivers of motor vehicles engaged in the transport of dangerous goods in international and domestic traffic;

21) implementation of state control during the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads of regional significance, streets in the city of Republican significance, the capital;
22) making a decision on granting public roads
of regional significance or their sections for free temporary use;
23) approval of the procedure and conditions for classification of public roads of regional and district significance;
24) approval of the procedure for placing outdoor (visual) advertising in the right-of-way of public roads of regional and district significance;
25) approval of the classification of types of work performed during maintenance, current, average and major repairs of streets in localities;
26) approval of construction of access roads and abutments to public roads of regional and district significance;
27) exercise in the interests of local government other powers assigned to local Executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
