Sports and physical education
According to departmental statistical reports 1-FC for 2020, the coverage of citizens of the region in physical culture and sports increased to 32.03%, compared to the same period in 2019, it increased by 0.23% or 6277 people.
There are 2,149 physical culture and sports teams in the region, including 1,254 in rural areas.
There are 408 secondary schools in the region, the number of students in 2020 amounted to 157919 thousand, of which 19543 thousand children or 12.3% are engaged in sports sections, including 6014 thousand children in rural areas.
In 2020, 24,805 thousand people study in 44 colleges of the region, 41.04% of them are engaged in sports, or 10181 thousand people.
In 6 higher Education institutions of the region, physical culture and sports with a total contingent of 27796 thousand students, of which 4048 students or 14.5% are engaged in sports and physical culture.
Since the beginning of the year, 270 instructors (Methodists in sports) have been introduced in the region to attract the rural population to systematic physical education and sports, and their number has increased by 6 units compared to the same period.
In order to develop and promote physical culture and sports, sports contests, tournaments, and Championships in sports are held in Aktobe city and districts of the region.
For 9 months of 2020, more than 646 sports and mass events were held in the region in order to promote a healthy lifestyle, which was attended by more than 37.3 thousand people.
Physical culture and sports work in the region is organized and carried out by 3,072 full-time employees (including 1,126 people in rural areas), an increase of 0.9% or by
27 units (in 2019 – 3045 units).
In 2020, the number of sports coaches in the region is 4,737, including 1,561 in rural areas, 1,556 coaches in secondary schools, and 803 coaches in rural areas.
National sports and persons with disabilities in sports.
In 2020, the number of people engaged in national sports in the region amounted to 25,009 thousand people, which did not increase compared to the same period in 2019.
There is 1 specialized sports school for national sports in the region.
According to the results of 2020, there are 816 athletes with disabilities in the region, an increase of 1 person compared to 2019 (in 2019 – 815 people). There is a sports club for the disabled in the region.
Development of high-performance sports.
In the region there are 31 youth sports schools, where 19.5 thousand athletes in the regional boarding school-the College named after ESET Batyr for gifted children in sports is engaged 300 students in the high sports school (shvsm) is 157 athletes.
According to the results of 2020, the number of people engaged in Olympic sports in Aktobe region was 159.3 thousand.
There is 1 Olympic reserve training Center in the city. In which the number of athletes involved is 111, the number of coaches is 17.
The composition of the national teams of Kazakhstan in various sports included 525 athletes of Aktobe oblast, including: Olympic – 274 (31 for the winter Olympic sport), the non-Olympic – 198, in wheelchair sports – 53.
For 9 months of 2020, 83 athletes of the 1st category, 128 candidates for master of sports, 21 masters of sports, 3 masters of sports of the international class of the Republic of Kazakhstan were trained.
133 medals were won at the Championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan: gold – 42, silver – 28, bronze – 63.
At International tournaments – 26 medals from them: gold-14, silver-7, bronze-5.
At the Asian Championships – 15 medals from them: gold-5, silver-7, bronze-3.
In particular, we can mention the Asian champion in freestyle wrestling Yu.Batyrmurzaev.
To participate in the upcoming Summer Olympic games in Tokyo, athletes of the Aktobe region won 3 licenses.
Thus, the Asian champion in open water swimming Khudyakov V. won the first license and at the World championship in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's wrestling, which was held from September 14 to 22 in Nur-Sultan, two more licenses for the Olympic games were won, these are bronze medalists in freestyle wrestling N. Sanaev and Greco-Roman wrestling M. Ainagulov.
It is also planned to win licenses in kayaking and Canoeing (2 people-T. Khaydarov, V. kopyeva) and freestyle wrestling (Yu.Batyrmurzaev).
Sports infrastructure.
In the Aktobe region, 1,831 sports facilities were registered, including 881 for physical culture and sports purposes, 815 in educational institutions, 135 in sports schools, 729 of them in rural areas, 220 in private ownership. ( 2019 – 1,761 sports facilities).

arena – 2, swimming pools-17, gyms-564.
In comparison with last year, the number of sports facilities in 2020 increased by 70 units: sports complexes-3, gyms-5, swimming pool-3, equestrian arena-1, flat structures-58.
In 2020, in the village of Martuk (323.0 million tenge), as well as in the Bayganinsky district (Karauylkeldy village - 349.9 million tenge), in the Temir district (Shubarkuduk village-450.7 million tenge), sports and recreation complexes were put into operation.
A sports and recreation complex is being built in Irgiz, kargalin, Aitekebi, and Khromtau districts.
This year (417.0 million tenge) on the basis of OSDYUSSH for national sports, the construction of an indoor arena with a stable for "hippotherapy" with an area of 76x36 meters for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities (diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, down) was completed.
Construction of Foci has begun in Kenkiyak village of Temir district (316.6 million tenge) and shubarshi (320.1 million tenge), in UIL village (416.9 million tenge), in Khromtau (1,085.7 billion tenge) and in Akzhar village of Khromtau district (217.3 million tenge) and in Koktau village (212.9 million tenge) FOK (2020g).
A POI was developed for the construction of a sports and recreation complex in the city of Kandyagash, Mugalzhar district (480.2 million tenge).
A POI was developed for the construction of a FOK in the village of Akzhar (for zhekpe-ZHEK), the village of Zhanakonys (for game types) and the 8th microdistrict of the city of Aktobe for MMA.
By 2021, it is expected to provide each district of the region with a sports and recreation complex.
It is planned to build a sports complex for people with disabilities, a positive conclusion of the POI examination has been received, and funds are being allocated.
As part of the" employment Roadmap – 2020", major repairs were made to the stadium of the Kandyagash youth school and the building of the Bayganinsky youth school.
The current repair of the sports hall SDYUSSHOR No. 2 on the roof covering of the 1st floor and on the floor covering of the sports hall SDYUSSHOR No. 2 has been completed.
Also, a roller ski track is being built in the village of Kirpichnoye (870.0 million tenge).
