Providing employment and improving the blogging status of the region's population is one of the main priorities of the region's development.
In order to prevent the growth of unemployment, a set of measures is being carried out to create new jobs, 35,373 new jobs were created in 2023, of which 20,987 permanent jobs
About the implementation of the National Entrepreneurship Project, 55,863 unemployed and self-employed people were involved in active employment measures last year.
Targeted social assistance was assigned to 22,553 low-income citizens living in 4,339 families, and their 7,596 children aged 1 to 6 years were given a guaranteed social package.
In order to provide additional support, various benefits, additional payments and compensations to 41,063 citizens in the amount of 2.8 billion tenge were provided by decisions of local representative and executive bodies.
In accordance with individual rehabilitation programs for the disabled in 2023, 2.6 billion tenge for 22,406 disabled people will be provided with hygienic and technical equipment, prosthetic and orthopedic care and sanatorium-resort rehabilitation.
Employment and social support measures are continuing in the region.
Tasks for 2024:
– to cover more than 53 thousand people with active employment measures;
– create more than 21 thousand new jobs;
– to keep unemployment at 4.7%.
– to provide targeted social assistance to 28.1 thousand citizens;
– in accordance with individual rehabilitation programs for the disabled, to provide technical rehabilitation facilities and services to more than 20.2 thousand disabled people.
